Hurdles could await new police station

During last week’s city council work session, a brand new police station was the main topic. However, city officials may have an unforeseen hurdle to cross after voters struck down the local use sales tax.

Congratulations to Eagle Glen Elementary School 5th grader Amelia Zernickow on winning the 2021 Missouri Department of Public Safety’s National Missing Children’s Day Poster Contest!
Amelia will represent Missouri in the national contest.

Ray-Pec’s Miles competes in National Academic Quiz tournament

After a tumultuous year for quiz bowl competitions, which forced most tournaments to migrate to videoconferences for matches, National Academic Quiz Tournaments held their Individual Player National Championship Tournament online Sunday, April 11.
