Mayor’s tree to be lit Nov. 30

The Raymore’s Mayor’s Tree Lighting and theChristmas Tree Trail will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30 at T.B. Hannan Station.
Citizens are invited to come celebrate the season with family and friends. There will be cookies, hot chocolate, a petting zoo and Santa Claus.

Gas hearing set for February

JEFFERSON CITY—The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold formal evidentiary hearings in February in a case regarding the propriety of Ameren Missouri’s existing natural gas rates in light of the federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 which reduced the federal corporate income tax rate from 35% to 21% for businesses, including utilities.
