Harrisonville has in-person graduation

Harrisonville High School presented diplomas to seniors at commencement exercises on Friday, June 26. The Class of 2020 graduation included the Pledge of Allegiance led by Class President Madison Hoffman, the National Anthem by Rebekah Bartlett, and a student address by Hoffman. 4th of July celebrations still happening

While the COVID-19 pandemic which the world is currently battling has canceled many 4th of July celebrations across the country, including Raymore’s Spirit Of Pride annual celebration, which has been rescheduled to be conducted September 11. Many citizens across the country, including in Raymore, were still in the spirit to celebrate the birthday of the United States by conducting individual parties and get-to-gethers with fireworks and enjoying the company of fellow American’s during the summer of 2020.

Ray-Pec finishes in top 40 at National Speech & Debate tourney

Ray-Pec High School finished in the Top 40 in the nation from more than 1,000 participating schools at the National Speech and Debate Tournament. Belton City Council approves NorthPoint apartment project

BELTON – The Belton City Council approved NorthPoint Development’s $44 million redevelopment of a long-vacant site at 163rd St. and Turner Rd. into the six-building, four-story, luxury 322-unit NorthPoint Apartments complex.
