Paws & Ponies to be Saturday
The Paws & Ponies event is scheduled again for the 2019 Christmas season.
The event, which helps benefit the Raymore Animal Shelter, is a family-friendly event where children can ride and get their pictures taken with Christmas horses. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be in attendance for pictures as well.

Ray-Pec music teacher composes Ray-Pec alma mater
After learning that Raymore-Peculiar High School did not have an official alma mater, Vocal Music Teacher Stephen Rew created one. Over the summer, he wrote the music and lyrics for the song. The first public performance of the alma mater was during the Nov. 15 pep assembly at the high school.
