The Raymore-Peculiar High School football team stopped its 2-game losing streak this past week en route to scoring a 17-14 victory over Lee’s Summit West in the Panther’s 2021 Homecoming game.

Sherwood volleyball team improves to 6-1 on season
The high school fall 2021 sports season continued this past week for the eight high schools in Cass County and was highlighted by the Sherwood volleyball team going 2-1 on the week to improve their overall record to 6-1.

Parents as Teachers offers virtual or in-person visits
The Ray-Pec Parents as Teachers (PAT) program is now offering families virtual or in-person home visits. So far this year, most families have scheduled in-person visits. Last year, only virtual visits were scheduled. Ray-Pec Parent Educators are Cindy Westergaard, Victoria Nevins Howe, Patty McGregory, and Katie Hamby.
