Ray-Pec Public School Foundation presents Partner in Education Awards
The Peculiar Charitable Foundation and Allison Scott are the 2020 recipients of the Partners in Education award from the Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation. They were honored on Feb. 22 at the annual Gala, which is a celebration and a fundraiser to support Foundation projects, grants, and scholarships.

Long range facility planning presented
This school year, the Raymore-Peculiar School District is updating its Long Range Facility Plan. During fall 2019, the District contracted the services of a demographer to assist with growth projections for the community. The planning process thus far has focused on data collection and analysis with District leaders and a small planning committee.

Cass County wrestlers claim 4 medals, 1 finalist in state wrestling
COLUMBIA — Cass County had all three of its high school boys’ wrestling teams represented at the Missouri State High School Activities Association’s state wrestling tournament this past weekend and those three teams combined to earn four top 6 medalists and one state runner-up.
