Pleasant Hill man charged in death Saturday night
Cass Co – Around 5:15 pm on Saturday deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a house in the 16000 block of S. State Route E Pleasant Hill for a reported shooting.

2 injured in wrong-way driver pursuit
Cass Co – Around 4:00 am a Cass County Deputy attempted to stop a black 2014 Volkswagen for speeding on I-49 south of Peculiar. When the deputy activated his emergency lights and siren, the driver accelerated and continued driving at speeds over 100 mph.

Belton hires Public Works Director, Assistant Public Works Director
