Price named 2019 volunteer of year
Jodi Price is the 2019 Volunteer of the Year for the school district! The Ray-Pec Council of PTAs made the announcement during a reception on April 30 to honor 14 nominees for the award. Jodi is treasurer for both the Timber Creek Elementary School PTA and the PTA Council. She was nominated for the award by Kyle Burke and Nicole Cline. Read more

Martel qualifies for state in golf
Raymore-Peculiar High School sophomore Chase Martel qualified for the state golf tournament for the second straight year. Belton theatre nominated for awards
Belton High School Theatre students have been nominated for three Starlight Theatre Blue Star Award based on performances on the stage and behind the scenes of Little Shop of Horrors. The nominations include Outstanding Costume Design and Construction, Outstanding Scenic Design and Construction, and Outstanding Actress in a Featured Role — senior Rachel Hudson as Crystal.
