The Missouri FFA Association recognized Andrew White of the Cass Career Center FFA Chapter as the Area 7 Star in Placement at the 91st Missouri FFA Convention. White is the son of Greg and Mary White of Lee’s Summit. His advisor are Jason Dieckhoff and Marshall Streit.

2 people arrested in vehicle pursuit
On Wednesday May 1, 2019 around 8:30 pm a deputy with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of Commercial Street and Wall Street, Harrisonville, for a registration violation.

Ray-Pec to get new turf, scoreboard and track
The Raymore-Peculiar School Board on March 25 approved bids to replace the turf and track at Panther Stadium and to partner with the Ray-Pec Booster Club for the replacement of the stadium scoreboard.

Driver charged in burglary of Archie home
