The Raymore’s Mayor’s Tree Lighting and theChristmas Tree Trail will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30 at T.B. Hannan Station.

Gas hearing set for February

JEFFERSON CITY—The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold formal evidentiary hearings in February in a case regarding the propriety of Ameren Missouri’s existing natural gas rates in light of the federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 which reduced the federal corporate income tax rate from 35% to 21% for businesses, including utilities.

Missouri natural gas prices to get altered

JEFFERSON CITY—To reflect estimated changes in the wholesale cost of natural gas as well as a change in the company’s Actual Cost Adjustment (ACA) factor, Summit Natural Gas of Missouri, Inc. (Summit Natural Gas) customers will see natural gas rates change under a filing that takes effect on November 19, 2018.
Raymore greeted by blizzard, winter 2018

Most of the midwest of the United States, including Raymore, were greeted Sunday by Mother Nature in a snowy-white way.
The storm, which reached all the way into Michigan, shut down Kansas City International Airport for a brief time and caused numerous schools in the Kansas City, including most of the schools in the Raymore area, to cancel classes on Monday.
Raymore began receiving moisture in the form of light rain in the 10 o’clock hour Sunday morning, that turned to snow in the following hour. The snow lasted for two hours before turning to freezing fog,...

Harrisonville, MO – Nine members of the Cass Career Center FFA Chapter recently returned from the 91st National FFA Convention, held in Indianapolis, IN October 24th – 27th. Students attending were Britini Bronson, Caroline Campbell, Brent Craig, Hannah Dinges, Jared Ford, Michelle Marrs, Harley Sipple, Savannah Timmons, and Dylan Young.
