Protests in area, across country, turn violent

Just as the nation was beginning to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, protests broke out across the country in response to recent killings of black men that protesters and millions of Americans deem unjustifiable. Locally, protests turned violent at times in Kansas City. Meanwhile, Raymore officials staged and expressed peaceful solidarity towards the movement.

Raymore citizens are asked to complete the 2020 Census

Raymore’s self-response rate is 75.1% for the 2020 census, as of the most recent update on June 3.

3 arrested in Raymore, Harrisonville Pursuits

Cass Co – Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office were involved in two pursuits in the past 24 hours resulting in three arrests.

Harrisonville’s Crowley selected Scholars 100 honorable mention

Harrisonville High School senior Carson Crowley has been selected as an “Honorable Mention” student in the 2020 Missouri Scholars 100, a statewide program that honors 100 of Missouri’s top academic students in the graduating class of 2020.

The physicians of Consultants in Gastroenterology, PC, began providing services at Cass Regional Medical Center on June 16.
