People can share books with 100,000s of libraries

The city council meeting on Nov. 9 touched on several issues, including new contracts, a new stop sign and the sale of a general obligation bond to fund street and park improvements. Stealing the show from the start was the Arts Commission, which has been working the past several months.

State of Belton : 2,000 new jobs added

The 2020 State of the City report started off with a big headline – in a difficult year, and among much good that was accomplished, the city of Belton added three major employers and 2,000 new jobs.

Teachers and students in the Harrisonville School District recently received nearly $6,500 in grants from the Harrisonville Public School Foundation.

Ray-Pec offers website for COVID information

The District is informing its parent and staff communities about all positive COVID-19 cases among its students and staff within 24 hours of being officially notified. Information about the numbers of staff and students in isolation or on quarantine, along with new cases for today, can be found at https://www.raypec.k12.mo.us/1482/COVID-19-Data.
