Fall high school sports seasons approaching district season

While it has been an undoubtedly odd sports season for all teams, regardless of level, sport or area of the country, the fall sports season in thhe state of Missouri is quickly approaching the district portion of their respective schedules. The Cass Ccounty teams are still going strong in multiple sports this fall.

Library back open to public

Cass County Public Library, which started curbside service on May 18th, began welcoming the general public back with in-branch visits on Monday, October 5th with limited hours. The Bookmobile will remain closed at this time. All items need to be returned in outdoor bookdrops, and the library is not accepting any donated items.

Nice weather greets Trucktoberfest 2020

It was nearly 80 degrees at 6 p.m. with clear, sunny skies. Raymore residents gathered together at Recreation Park for food, games and music on a perfect summer day. Except it was actually October, but it did not feel like that at this year’s Trucktoberfest.

Harrisonville schools asks for help with health, safety

I am writing to you today to ask for your help. We are working very hard within our schools to follow health and safety guidelines in order to limit the spread of the COVID virus. Although our students are doing a great job with wearing their face coverings and social distancing when possible in school, our numbers for isolations and quarantines last week were the highest for the year so far. Raymore taking steps toward 5G

The Raymore City Council’s Sept. 28 meeting awarded several contracts while also considering a few developments for the first time. More relevant to most residents, the city council also considered a bill that will pave the way for 5G networks in Raymore, significantly increasing wireless technology speeds in the future.
