Sheriff to hire crime analyst

Cass Co – Sheriff Jeff Weber announced Wednesday new career opportunities and job openings at the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. Included in the additional staff are a Crime Analyst, Network Technician, and Clerk. The Sheriff’s Office also posted that they are filling one vacancy for Communication Officer and one Victim’s Advocate.

ADA-accessible transit to be expanded for Belton Seniors

Wednesday, May 5, 2021 will mark a huge step forward in reliable, accessible transit for Belton’s seniors and those with disabilities as the city’s OATS Transit program launches its expansion – to weekly rather than monthly service and to nearly any destination within the city’s limits rather than only to shopping outlets.

Panther baseball places 3rd in Fee State tourney

The Raymore-Peculiar baseball team won 5 of its 7 games last week, which included going 3-1 in the Lawrecne Free State Tournament over the weekend, where the won the consolation championship.
