Belton teacher creates face shields
Belton High School’s Engineering and Robotics teacher, Nick Civitello has not only been teaching his students via distance learning, but he’s also been going to his classroom at the Yeokum Center of Innovation to create face shields for Belton School District food service teams and other staff who are working in the buildings.

2nd Cass County resident dies from COVID-19
Just two days after testing positive for COVID-19, an 80-year-old Meadow View Health and Rehabilitation resident has died. She is the second death in Cass County related to COVID-19. Several more in the facility have tested positive.
