Teachers and other certified staff members who are new to the Ray-Pec School District reported to work this week to begin training on curriculum, instruction, and technology. All other teachers returned to work today (Aug. 14).

Cass County high school sports teams are back in practice
The sporting world around the country is slowly crawling back into action across the country and the state of Missouri High School ranks are no different with most high schools across the state getting back into action this past week with the beginning of practice for fall sports teams beginning this past Monday.

Photo yard signs displayed on grounds for 2020 graduates
A photo yard sign of each 2020 senior was displayed on the high school grounds. You are invited to stop by the high school to pick up your 2020 Senior’s photo yard sign, if you haven’t already. Signs will be available from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Aug. 14.

Harrisonville district rolls out back-to-school plan
Following approval at last week’s Board of Education meeting, the district sent families information on back-to-school plans for this year. The first day of school will be Monday, August 24 and parents have the choice of in-person or virtual learning for their children.
