High School teams enter into midway point of 2021 fall seasons

In many aspects in today’s world, life seems to be returning as close to normal as it can become following the many disruptions the world has seen over the past, that is ever clear at the high school sports scene where teams are continuting to compete in multiple sports and Cass County is no different as teams continue to compete, win and lose, in multiple sporting events. Celebrate Missouri artists at Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art

ST. JOSEPH—September 2, 2021—The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art is honored to host the final segment of the contemporary art traveling exhibition Missouri Art Now: A Bicentennial Celebration from September 18 through November 7, 2021. This is comprised of 60 artworks from 60 artists representing the state’s vibrant visual arts culture and presents a snapshot of contemporary art from all four corners of Missouri. Harrisonville to induct 2 members into Distinguirshed Alumni

The Harrisonville Public School Foundation will induct two Harrisonville High School graduates into the HHS Distinguished Alumni Wall of Fame as part of Homecoming festivities on Sept. 10. Danny Carmichael, class of 1978, and Taylor Moreland, class of 2009, will be honored during a halftime ceremony at the football game. The public is invited to congratulate them during a reception in the Harrisonville Middle School cafeteria from 5:30-6:30 p.m. that night.
