Detective Truelove and Officer McMein were awarded the Meritorious Service Ribbon for their quick thinking and calm under pressure, resulting in saving a child’s life.

Lieutenant Kirkpatrick was awarded the Distinguished Service medal for actions he took to save a suicidal party armed with a gun, at considerable risk to his own safety.
