Cass County property tax season continues to set records By Raymore Journal staff Cass County Collector of Revenue Chris Molendorp has released December 2021 property tax disbursement figures for Cass County’s local political subdivisions.  Molendorp announced $112,862,768.88 was disbursed to 70 separate local political subdivisions and the State of Missouri. Man arrested, stolen vehicle recovered after pursuit in Belton By Raymore Journal staff Around 4:00 p.m. on Jan. 19, deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Unit arrested one person in a stolen 2019 Kia Forte near 163rd and Spring Valley Road in Belton following a short vehicle pursuit. Cass County hits record-high property tax disbursement By Raymore Journal staff Property tax season began in November, and the numbers already suggest that Cass County’s economy is thriving. For the month of November, Cass County distributed nearly $36.5 million in property tax revenue. According to Cass County Collector Chris Molendorp, that is the largest November property tax disbursement in county history.
