Ashcroft’s office receives final redistricting House map By Raymore Journal staff Jefferson City, Mo. — Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft expressed his congratulations to the bipartisan commission tasked with redrawing Missouri’s 163 House districts. The House Independent Bipartisan Citizens Commission finalized the new map by a unanimous vote.  The last time commission members agreed upon house district maps was 1991. Man shot and killed while driving in Kansas City suburbs By Raymore Journal staff Authorities say a man was likely shot and killed while he was driving near the Kansas City suburb of Raytown on Saturday. Kansas City Police spokesman Sgt. Jake Becchina said gunshots were reported around 11:45 a.m. Saturday.
