Around 12:30 Wednesday morning, May 4, deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a vehicle in Raymore near Ward Road and County Line Road.

Raymore Police Chief Jan Zimmerman was presented with the 2021 Donald “Red” Loehr Outstanding Police Chief award by the Missouri Police Chiefs Association (MPCA) at the annual conference on May 3.
